Job Description:

Our PE backed client is seeking to recruit a Global Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis. This global role will head up the finance for a 500 million turnover business, which spans some 28 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will have 25 direct reports in divisional roles, be responsible for working directly for the Global CEO and working together to shape the Global strategy of the business.

Essential to success in this role, is previous experience in a similar Global number 1 Finance role where International travel is an essential pre-requisite. You will be based in Central Europe with teams across multiple International locations. The business concerned lies within the chemicals sector, preferred by the PE house and CEO you will have some experience of the chemical and financial processes.

This is an exciting time for this Private Equity backed business in a buy and build acquisitive growth phase. You will bring your International expertise to the table in leading the Finance Community, liaising with the executive board and PE portfolio directors to implement the changes and Finance transformation needed to drive the business into the next decade.

The successful candidate will ideally be Big 4 trained with a strong CV working in both Divisional and Group finance leadership roles, within Globally recognised businesses. You will be Internationally mobile and able to 'fly-in and fly-out (at the company’s expense), you will be available within a few weeks’ notice and be able to commit to a 6 month contract on a day rate basis.
